Smile Network is seeking qualified, experienced medical & non-medical volunteers to join our surgical mission teams.

We are currently accepting applications for plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses, and certified surgical technicians.

(A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $50.00 is required to process your application.)

The costs associated with participation in a mission are approximately $3,000 per person. Monies raised by Smile Network fund transportation and lodging for the volunteer team members and pay for necessary medical supplies to support the missions. Since Smile Network relies on volunteer participation, we ask that every individual in our organization contribute their time and talent to make these missions possible. In doing so, Smile Network is able to keep the actual costs to our mission volunteers to a minimum.

Participants are responsible for evening meals, any personal expenses and a Mission Participation Fee for each trip (average participation fee is $150.00).

PHYSICIANS / ANESTHESIA PROVIDERS:

• Plastic Surgeons - with current experience in cleft repair

• ENT Surgeons - with current experience in cleft repair

• Pediatric Anesthesiologists

• Anesthesiologists - with current experience in anesthetizing pediatric patients

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - with current experience in

anesthetizing pediatric patients

• Pediatricians

REQUIREMENTS:

• Copy of diploma(s)

• Copy of current medical license

• Curriculum Vitae demonstrating experience relevant to the position

• Three professional references with current phone numbers

REGISTERED NURSES / CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNICIANS:

• Operating Room Nurses/Certified Surgical Technicians

• Recovery Room Nurses

• Floor/Ward Nurses

REQUIREMENTS:

• Copy of diploma(s)

• Copy of current license as a RN, Nurse Practitioner or CST

• Resumé showing a minimum of two years of recent experience relevant to the position the applicant is considering; five years is recommended

• Operating room applicants must have current, relevant OR experience

• Recovery room nurses are required to have experience in a pediatric PACU, PICU, or NICU

• Three professional references with current phone numbers

PALS AND ACLS IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED
