Sergio is a shining example of the incredible impact a surgery can have. When he was eight years old, his parents heard about a group of doctors who would soon be visiting a nearby city. Sergio and a group of friends set out to the mission site from their village of Guerrero, Mexico, walking shoeless over rough terrain for 17 hours.
